Cute Felted Robin Bauble Christmas Decoration

Cute robin baubles lovingly handmade from needle felted wool. These round little robins are looking for a new home to cosy up in this winter. They would feel very at home upon a Christmas tree over the festive season. Each robin is made from needle felted wool from my flock of sheep and is presented in a simple card gift box – a perfect present for someone or perhaps for yourself! Made from just wool and jute they are completely natural, biodegradable, kind to sheep and the planet.

The price is for 1 robin the same or very similar to those in the photos. As each is handmade no two are ever exactly the same they may vary slightly in shape and size but are all equally beautiful.  They come in two different colours – grey with a red beast and brown with an orange breast. Please select which colour you would like from the menu.

The robins are made from all-natural wool from my flock, the only parts which are not wool from my flock are the jute twine that they hand from. The sheep who provided the wool are in the photos. Trhe brown robins are made using Pips natural brown fleece and the grey robins and the beaks are made from natural grey wool from Sandy (who sadly passed away this year). The red and orange wool is dyed wool from Mango.

Size – Robins measures approx 5.5-6cm beak to tail and approx 4 cm high. They have a round-ish shape. Total length with the string is approx 19cm.

All my needle felted items are very solidly felted with carefully added details. As such, each takes a very long time to make, the robins each take around 2 hours to make at the felting stage. That is not including the time spent shearing the sheep, washing the wool, carding, dyeing or spinning the little legs!

Please note – This is NOT a toy. It has been created for display and decoration purposes only. It is made from small needle felted wool pieces and hairy textured wool so could pose a hazard for babies or small children. Please do not give to children under 3 years old.

I always make every effort to show the true colours of items in my photos and website photos are never enhanced but sometimes colours may vary due to different monitor settings and lighting.

A lot of time, care and love go into all my items they are all individually made one at a time by just 1 pair of hands – from caring for and shearing the sheep, washing the wool and crafting an item to the packaging and posting – handmade in the truest sense of the word.

Any item bought before Christmas 2021 will be posted with Royal Mail 1st class (1-3 day dispatch time) things will revert back to the usual 2nd class after this date. Please note I am not responsible for postage delays. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE LAST DAY I AM POSTING ITEMS BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2021 IS FRIDAY 17th DECEMBER!  If you require express postage please contact me before purchase. This item is presented in a simple attractive cardboard gift box -the cost for this and packaging has been factored into any postage cost.

Combined Postage I do combine postage on multiple items if it is not done automatically at checkout I will refund you any overcharges after checkout.

Post Packaging In an effort to be more eco-friendly most of the outer post packaging I send items in is reused aka recycled packaging that we have received parcels in ourselves or that has been gifted to me to put to good use.

OVERSEAS BUYERS will incur an extra postage charge which may vary depending on location.

RETURNS If you are unhappy with your item please contact me within 5 days of receiving it. All items must be returned in their original unused condition and buyer pays return postage.

We keep a well-loved, high welfare flock of pet and rescue sheep on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales. Our sheep are a part of the family and each is known by name. All our wool and makes are vegetarian-friendly as we do not breed or sell sheep for the meat market and our sheep live out their natural lives with us. I am a full-time mum and shepherdess. In my (none existent!) free time I make things from wool from the sheep in order to sustain them.
