Daffodil was born and bred here. Her dad was a Soay ram and her mum is Sandy. She has a twin sister – Daisy and an older half-sister – Poppy. Daffy was the most beautiful baby and from being a little lamb she was always very inquisitive and friendly – a bit of a family trait. She has a beautiful soft single coat fleece that has turned from chocolate brown as a lamb to a beautiful light browny grey colour. She is a very gentle sheep, enjoying a cuddle and fuss. At feeding time Daffodil has this cheeky habit of not letting any other sheep eat nuts from my hands and when she can’t fit any more in her own mouth she tries to shove all the food on the floor rather than let the other sheep get any! Daffodil has had a few lambs over the years most went to new pet homes except her lovely daughter Waffle and son Elder who stayed within flock.
