Dotty is Dandelion’s twin sister. They are the result of a planned encounter between Fleur and Sven. Dotty loves children she makes a pretty good baby sitter when I am out in the fields with little Ollie and Elsie! She is very friendly and she has this awful habit of jumping up all the time when the food bucket is about. She learned this from Dandelion.. but unlike her sister who has a really good technique for jumping up and landing her head straight in the bucket, Dotty tends to just launch herself at the bucket and me… resulting is food flying all over the floor and occasionally me too. Although she looks almost white now Dotty is actually a brown sheep with the grey pattern and lots of white spotting that covers most of her brown/grey colour. You can see her true colour and markings on the photos of her as a lamb. Talking of lambs… Dotty had a lamb of her own when she was just 1 year old. This was not a planned pregnancy it was the result of her own dad Sven escaping one night when he was on a rampage. So yes Dotty has an incestuous daughter who is called Dash. In 2019 part of Dotty’s first-ever fleece was wet felted and formed one side of a cushion. The reverse was made of woven handspun wool from Muffin. The two fleeces complimented each other perfectly and the cushion was very special. No wonder it was quickly snapped up. Dotty helped buy the winter hay that year for herself and many of her flock mates.
