Your information and how I use it
I have genuinely have the utmost respect for your privacy and am committed to protecting your personal details. This Privacy Policy explains in detail what information may be collected from you when you visit and/or purchase something from patchworksheep.co.uk, who I share it with and why.
Please note I do not store personal details they are only used to send products to you if you place an order or contact you if need be.
Personal information I collect
When you browse this website, apparently I will automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
While you visit this site, I will be aware of:
– Location, IP address and browser type: which is used for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
– Shipping address: you may be asked to provide this to estimate shipping before you place an order, and so I can send you the order.
When you purchase something from my website, as part of the buying and selling process, you will be asked to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. I may use this information for purposes, such as, to:
– Send you information about your account and order
– Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
– Process payments and prevent fraud
– Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
If you create an account, the site will store your name, address, email and phone number if provided, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
I only store information about you for as long as we need eg: until your purchase has been posted to you.

I use third parties such as Royal Mail, MyHermes, DPD and DHL to ship products, in the process of which it is necessary for me to provide personally identifiable information such as your name, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
I may also be required to disclose your personal information to the police or other enforcement, regulatory or Government body, in your country of origin or elsewhere, if we are required by law to do so, or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Email and social media marketing
With your permission and on your request I may send you emails about new products and other updates.
When you provide me with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, I imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to any personal information I have about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.
Data Retention
I do not purposefully store personal data beyond when it is needed.
WooCommerce
My website store uses WooCommerce. They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my crafts.
Your data is stored through WooCommerce data storage, databases and the general WooCommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. For more information, please read the WooCommerce Privacy Policy.
Payments
PAYPAL
I accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy.
Compliance with Data Protection Laws. With regard to any personal data processed by PayPal and the merchant in connection with this Agreement, PayPal and the merchant will respectively each be a controller in respect of such processing. PayPal and the merchant agree to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Laws applicable to controllers in respect of the provision of their respective services and otherwise in connection with this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, PayPal and the merchant each have their own, independently determined privacy policies, notices and procedures for the personal data they hold and are each a data controller (and not joint data controllers). In complying with the Data Protection Laws, PayPal and the merchant shall, without limitation:
– Implement and maintain at all times all appropriate security measures in relation to the processing of personal data;
– Maintain a record of all processing activities carried out under this Agreement; and not knowingly do anything or permit anything to be done which might lead to a breach by the other party of the Data Protection Laws.

Security
To protect your personal information, I take precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. But shit happens.
Changes to this privacy policy
I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so if in doubt please review it though honestly Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
