Wild Felted Wool Bookmark – Handmade unique bookmarks

Unique handmade bookmarks full of character inspired by my sheep, love of books, of nature and magic. These made from the beautiful wool from my flock. Some are naturally coloured and others are made from hand-dyed wool, one even has cow hair. Each bookmark is individually crafted with a lot of thought, love and care. They will make wonderful gifts for book lovers. I adore books and the idea for these was born of my own need for a bookmark. I think their wild rustic design looks beautiful against the pages of a book. Buying one of these bookmarks is a great way to support and feed my flock this winter 🙂 More details on each bookmark below.

Size – Bookmarks measure approx 27-30cm in length and 5-6cm width.

A – Dash (Inspired by and made with Dash the sheep’s wool and other wools)

B – Dash/Blossom (A mix inspired by and made with Dash the sheep’s wool and Blossom’s)

C – Blossom (A lovely dark colour made mostly with Blossom’s fleece)

D – Fox (This bookmark has a fox inspired design)

E – Highland (A design based upon the Highland cow this bookmark is made with a mix of wool and Highland cow hair!)

F – Forest (A design inspired by the forest)

G – Heather (A design based upon heather and moorland a mix of greys, greens and purples)

H – Ocean (This bookmark was inspired by the ocean waves)

I – Mermaid (A magical bookmark inspired by shimmering mermaid tales and tails! This bookmark contains scraps of synthetic yarns)

J – Unicorn (A magical bookmark inspired by Unicorns)

K – Unicorn (A magical bookmark inspired by Unicorns)

These are posted as a large letter with Royal Mail 1st class Signed for. If you are an overseas buyer please contact me if you wish to purchase one so I can arrange that for you.

A lot of time, care and love go into all my items they are all individually made one at a time by just 1 pair of hands – from caring for and shearing the sheep, washing the wool and crafting an item to the packaging and posting – handmade in the truest sense of the word.

CHRISTMAS Postage is with Royal Mail 1st class and items are dispatched within 1-3 working days due to Royal Mail strikes there may be delays with deliveries and I cannot guarantee it will arrive before Christmas.. If you require express postage please contact me before purchase.

Combined Postage I do combine postage on multiple items if it is not done automatically at checkout I will refund you any overcharges after checkout.

Post Packaging In an effort to be more eco-friendly most of the outer post packaging I send items in is reused aka recycled packaging that we have received parcels in ourselves or that has been gifted to me to put to good use.

OVERSEAS BUYERS will incur an extra postage charge which may vary depending on location.

RETURNS If you are unhappy with your item please contact me within 7 days of receiving it. All items must be returned in their original unused condition and buyer pays return postage.

We keep a well-loved, high welfare flock of pet and rescue sheep on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales. Our sheep are a part of the family and each is known by name. All our wool and makes are vegetarian-friendly as we do not breed or sell sheep for the meat market and our sheep live out their natural lives with us. I am a full-time mum and shepherdess. In my (none existent!) free time I make things from wool from the sheep in order to sustain them.
