Description
Felted Pastel Rainbow Stars Decoration Set
A set of 8 felted pastel rainbow stars hand-crafted with sheep’s wool and a sprinkle of colourful dye! These needle felted decorations are handmade with wool from Mango the sheep. To create coloured wool some of Mango’s white fleece was washed and then popped in a large bubbling pan, a little magic dye was added and ‘poof’ her fleece turned into all the colours of the rainbow! Perfect for fashioning into stars, with unicorns and magic spells swirling in my mind when I created them!
These 8 stars are perfect decorations for in the home, I especially love them as alternative Christmas tree decorations. There are 4 smaller stars and 4 larger stars in the set each a different colour. They would make a sweet little gift for all rainbow and unicorn lovers. Completely natural, ethical, kind to sheep and the planet.
This listing is for the exact set of 8 stars pictured in the photos. Please note in some photos they are pictured with other sets of stars which are not included in the price but can be bought separately.
These rainbow stars are presented in a simple card gift box – a perfect present for someone or perhaps for yourself!
The only parts that are not wool from my flock are the jute twine that the stars hang from and the gift packaging.
Size – Small Stars – Approx 4.5cm diameter (including string 19cm total length)
Size – Medium Stars – Approx 6cm diameter (including string 23cm total length)
All my needle felted items are very solidly felted with carefully added details. They are crafted with a lot of love and care and not rushed so they take a surprising amount of time to make. That is not including the time spent shearing the sheep, washing the wool, carding, dyeing or spinning!
Please note – This is NOT a toy. It has been created for display and decoration purposes only. It is made from small needle felted wool pieces and hairy textured wool and so could pose a hazard for babies or small children. Please do not give to children under 3 years old.

A lot of time, care and love go into all my items they are all individually made one at a time by just 1 pair of hands – from caring for and shearing the sheep, washing the wool and crafting an item to the packaging and posting – handmade in the truest sense of the word.

We keep a well-loved, high welfare flock of pet and rescue sheep on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales. Our sheep are a part of the family and each is known by name. All our wool and makes are vegetarian-friendly as we do not breed or sell sheep for the meat market and our sheep live out their natural lives with us. I am a full-time mum and shepherdess. In my (none existent!) free time I make things from wool from the sheep in order to sustain them.
