Felted Unicorn Rainbow Stars Decoration Set

A special little unicorn decoration set made with sheep’s wool and magic!

This little Unicorn and her matching stars have been handmade with wool from Alice, Hagrid and Mango the sheep. They are made by me and the sheep on our farm in North Wales with a process called needle felting. Hagrid’s super curly fleece became the mane and tail of the unicorn and Mango’s fleece was used to create the stars. A mix of Alice and Mango’s fleeces was used to build the body of the unicorn and handspun to create the dangly legs. To create coloured wool some of Hagrid and Mango’s white fleece was washed and then popped in a large bubbling pan, a little magic dye was added and ‘poof’ the fleece turned into all the colours of the rainbow!

They are super cute and perfect little decorations for all unicorn lovers. They would make a lovely present and look lovely as alternative Christmas tree decorations. There are 6 wool stars in the set of different sizes and 1 sweet little unicorn who is also made from solid wool with the exception of the jute string she hangs up with. Completely natural, ethical, kind to sheep and the planet.

This listing is for the exact set pictured in the photos. Please note in some photos they are pictured with other sets of stars which are not included in the price but can be bought separately.

They are presented in a simple cardboard gift box – a perfect present for someone or perhaps for yourself!

The only parts that are not wool from my flock are the jute twine that the stars hang from and the gift packaging.

They have been made to be decorations only and not intended to be toys.

Size – Mini Stars – Approx 3cm diameter (including string 16cm total length)

Size – Small Stars – Approx 4.5cm diameter (including string 19cm total length)

Size – Unicorn – Approx 16cm length including the fluffy tail. 11cm high from horn to base of leg. (Including the string 32cm total hanging length/height)

All my needle felted items are very solidly felted with carefully added details. They are crafted with a lot of love and care and not rushed so they take a surprising amount of time to make. That is not including the time spent shearing the sheep, washing the wool, carding, dyeing or spinning!

Please note – This is NOT a toy. It has been created for display and decoration purposes only. It is made from small needle felted wool pieces and hairy textured wool and so could pose a hazard for babies or small children. Please do not give to children under 3 years old.

A lot of time, care and love go into all my items they are all individually made one at a time by just 1 pair of hands – from caring for and shearing the sheep, washing the wool and crafting an item to the packaging and posting – handmade in the truest sense of the word.

Post Packaging In an effort to be more eco-friendly most of the outer post packaging I send items in is reused aka recycled packaging that we have received parcels in ourselves or that has been gifted to me to put to good use.

OVERSEAS BUYERS will incur an extra postage charge which may vary depending on location.

RETURNS If you are unhappy with your item please contact me within 5 days of receiving it. All items must be returned in their original unused condition and buyer pays return postage.

We keep a well-loved, high welfare flock of pet and rescue sheep on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales. Our sheep are a part of the family and each is known by name. All our wool and makes are vegetarian-friendly as we do not breed or sell sheep for the meat market and our sheep live out their natural lives with us. I am a full-time mum and shepherdess. In my (none existent!) free time I make things from wool from the sheep in order to sustain them.
