Handmade Needle Felted Polar Bear Decoration
This cute little needle felted polar bear cub is hand-crafted from natural wool from the flock. Every little detail, his eyes, ears and tail are carefully made from wool at our farm by my own hands. He has little wooden legs which I made myself from driftwood that I collected from Nant Gwythern beach. This polar bear is a perfect unique gift and rustic Christmas decoration for any home. He is completely natural, biodegradable, kind to sheep and the planet.
This listing is for the exact polar bear in the photos. He is free standing on his sturdy wooden legs. He is presented in a simple card gift box – a perfect present for someone or perhaps for yourself!
The little bear is made from all-natural wool, the only parts which are not wool from my flock are his little wooden legs. The main wool used in his creation comes from a sheep called Alice who has beautiful shiny white wool which I often use for creating Unicorns and sometimes polar bears like this little fellow.
Size – He measures approx 10cm long nose to bum (not including tail) and 8cm high from the tip of his nose to the bottom of his leg.
All my needle felted items are very solidly felted with carefully added details. As such, each takes a very long time to make. That is not including the time spent shearing the sheep, washing the wool, carding, dyeing or spinning the little legs!
Please note – This is NOT a toy. It has been created for display and decoration purposes only. It is made from small needle felted wool and wood pieces and hairy textured wool and contains a fine wire in the antlers so could pose a hazard for babies or small children. Please do not give to children under 3 years old.
I always make every effort to show the true colours of items in my photos and website photos are never enhanced but sometimes colours may vary due to different monitor settings and lighting.

We keep a well-loved, high welfare flock of pet and rescue sheep on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales. Our sheep are a part of the family and each is known by name. All our wool and makes are vegetarian-friendly as we do not breed or sell sheep for the meat market and our sheep live out their natural lives with us. I am a full-time mum and shepherdess. In my (none existent!) free time I make things from wool from the sheep in order to sustain them.
