Handmade felted fleece seat cover aka a ‘fluffy bum warmer’ made from a small piece of Tawny’s 2021 fleece.. 100% Natural wool

This cosy seat cover has been made using a small part of Tawny’s fleece from 2021 – the nicest prettiest part 😉 It is wonderfully soft and has the most pretty pale grey colours. Just like Tawny herself, it is small in size but rather sweet and special. The felted reverse has been created with a mix of wool from some of my other sheep – Minnie, Poppy and Daisy. The reverse is very smooth and well felted and I have needle felted Tawny’s name on there – you know, just because it makes it that extra bit more special. This is a completely handmade product every element has been created by myself and Tawny and the flock at our farm in Wales. The sale of it directly sustains the sheep and enables them to live out their whole lives here munching away growing beautiful wool. You can’t get more ethical than that.

Tawny’s fleece will look beautiful in any home. Ideal to place upon a chair, sofa, or bench to add a touch of rustic luxury and keep your bum nice and cosy! It would ever make a fancy pet bed for all those spoilt four-legged friends out there – most likely if you have a dog or a cat they will be the first to claim this regardless.

Dimensions: Measurements taken on the fleece side are at the widest 60cm and shortest 54 cm diameter. The seat pad has an irregular circular shape to it.

Wool texture: The feel of this fleece is mostly very soft with some of the longer locks being slightly more coarse to touch.

Colour: Natural light grey tones on the fleece side and light grey and dark brown on the felted reverse.

VM(aka hay/grass seeds etc): You may find the odd wisp of hay or grass seed within the fleece and felt but they are very few and only add to the naturalness of this hand made piece.

All felted fleeces moult or shed to some degree some more than others. With this particular piece that is very minimal if at all.
